Next, go all the way into the deepest part of the dead mine. That means keep heading right. Jump down the humongous drop, keep walking past the Bains, just keep going. Eventually you'll bump into Adobis. Form a party (it can be a party of one, but you must be leader of a party to enter). Double click Adobis and tell him you want to do Level 1.
You will now enter a large room full of mine entrances. They're numbered like so:

If you check your minimap after entering an area, you can double check you're in the right place. You are looking for keys in these objects in these areas:
4-2 - Right Facing Rock
9-2 - Left Facing Chest
11-1 - Left Facing Chest
14-1 - Left Facing Chest
Once you have those four keys, proceed through Room 10-1, which leads to 10-2, which leads to area 16 - "in a deep mine somewhere. Rooms in this area are numbered like so:

You are now looking for three more keys:
16-2 - Left Facing Chest
16-3 - Right Facing Chest
16-5 - Left Facing Rock
Hopefully you (and your party, if you bring some friends) will end up standing in room 16-5 with 7 keys in one person's possession. Drop all 7 keys at once in front of the large chest found in this room, it will open after a short delay, and drop an item. Pick this item up, go back out to the main area and speak to Aura. Tell her you've brought the item. After she takes the item from you, go out the door and you should be clear of stage 1 and able to move on to the jump quests.
