I think ima switch back to iTunes in a little bit... WMP is nice and light, but it's annoying as fuck - for some reason it keeps wanting to pick up audio that's on my media server and play it, so it plays a bunch of my sister-in-law's shit no matter how many times I keep deleting it from my library. At least on iTunes I un-tick somethin' and it fuckin' well stays un-ticked. :nosepick:

WMP was already installed, allegedly has support for DLNA (except that the versions on XP don't support the server, and can't even if you try install the server package - another reason to upgrade to Win7)... and every version of Winamp I've used later than 2.97 has sucked shit.

A friend of mine turned me onto Foobar2000, and it really is a great little minimalist client. Problem is, I like my shit small and fast but it's a bit too minimalist for me (ie, it's too ugly). I'll keep playing with it though because it really doesn't use shit for resources. I guess it all boils down to whether or not the shuffle on it sucks or not (WMP has a good shuffle, iTunes' is pretty terrible). :nosepick:

If I ever feel like listening to a shuffled up list of songs I just genius up a 25 spot playlist, that shit works real good even if it likes to use a couple songs repeatedly. I usually listen to one artist a little then move on though as anyone can probably tell looking at my lfm.
